SourceSTAR Training Courses are taught in three Practitioner levels followed by the Master Teacher Level which is taught in two parts namely Master Practitioner and Master Teacher. Each level is certificated, and Practitioners can take their learning to the level they feel is personally appropriate with a Master Teacher of their choosing.

You will receive an Initiation / Attunement from Gordon Soutar into the appropriate level of SourceSTAR and be taught the applicable symbols and techniques.  Due to the Initiation Ceremony taking considerably longer than a Reiki Attunement, whenever possible the actual SourceSTAR Initiation will be completed at a suitable time prior to the starting date of the course. There will be SourceSTAR practice and opportunities to share knowledge and experiences.

SourceSTAR Course - Level 1 (Minimum 2 full days)

This SourceSTAR Level 1 Course will teach you how to channel and use the energy of SourceSTAR safely for your own personal use and for family and friends. You will undergo Initiation into SourceSTAR level 1, a healing process raising your personal vibration, and be taught all the necessary fundamentals of Energy work including Clearing a Space; Protection; How to ask for and channel the SourceSTAR energy; the Hand Positions for self and family treatments; and the first 5 healing symbols of SourceSTAR. Students will be given a comprehensive SourceSTAR training course manual and there will be practical demonstration and practice, sharing of experiences, and Meditation. (No previous experience is required)

SourceSTAR Course - Level 2 (Minimum 2 full days)

To undertake this SourceSTAR Course Level 2 (Practitioner Level) you must have completed Level 1 or take them combined (see later). You will be taught how to channel and use SourceSTAR healing energy safely on the general public. You will receive Initiation into SourceSTAR level 2 and be taught what is necessary to prepare you for being a SourceSTAR Practitioner and for energy work with clients. the level 2 healing symbols, and various healing techniques; How to heal situations and use a basic Crystal grid; distance healing; etc. You will be given a comprehensive SourceSTAR training course manual and there will be practical demonstration and practice, sharing of experiences, and Meditation.

You are required to complete case studies prior to certification to ensure the teaching has been effective and that you have a level of competence and confidence. Although use of intuition is encouraged, you will also be expected to demonstrate a working knowledge of the framework taught in level 1 within which you may work safely, including Hand Positions, enabling you to carry out full seated and couch treatments and healing at distance effectively.

SourceSTAR Course - Levels 1 & 2 Combined

(Minimum 3 full days)

Taking SourceSTAR training course levels 1 and 2 together is only deemed suitable and permissible for those who are already experienced at working with energy (e.g. Spiritual Healing or Reiki Attuned). The course content is as in levels 1 and level 2 above combined. You will be given the comprehensive SourceSTAR training manuals for both levels.

SourceSTAR Course - Advanced Practitioner Level

(Minimum 2 full days)

At this Advanced Level Training Course you will be Initiated into SourceSTAR Advanced level thus raising your personal vibration, enabling you to increase the energy you channel and offer to others. You will be taught the appropriate SourceSTAR healing symbols for this level and there usefulness. You will be given a comprehensive training course manual and taught many important healing techniques that will enhance your knowledge and enabling you to become a more effective Practitioner. During the Course there will be practical demonstration and practice, sharing of experiences, and Meditation.

SourceSTAR Course - Master Teacher Level

To qualify as a Master Teacher mastery is taught in two stages with a period of at least six months between certification for each part.  If you are interested in undertaking training to take you to SourceSTAR Master Teacher Level, please contact a SourceSTAR Master Teacher to arrange discussion in person.

SourceSTAR Master Practitioner Level Training

The first part called Master Practitioner level teaches you some very powerful symbols and healing techniques, and introduces you to the responsibilities of becoming a Master Teacher of SourceSTAR. For those who decide they do not wish to go on to teach, this level is certificated in its own right.

SourceSTAR Master Teacher Empowerment Level

The second part is known as Master Teacher Level and is for those who have the necessary experience and understanding of SourceSTAR healing and who wish to teach the SourceSTAR Healing System to others. You will be taught all the techniques and processes involved that will enable you to pass on the SourceSTAR vibration and relevant knowledge for each level to others. You will be given comprehensive training course manuals for teaching all levels of SourceSTAR, and the right to reproduce these manuals for the teaching of all levels to others on condition you remain a member of The SourceSTAR Association.

Ongoing Support

Gordon offers ongoing support and practice through attendance of SourceSTAR Gatherings or shares starting 7.30pm on the second and fourth Sundays of each month in the 'Aditi Yoga Centre' in Edinburgh. These are open to all and provide opportunities for students to access ongoing support, have energy healing exchanges, and work with members of the public while also raising public awareness of this wonderful energy.
